Bass Recorders

Michael plays the bass recorder on Christmas eve.

The setting here is most appropriate for Renaissance and medievel instruments.
It is Viscaya, in Miami, FL, an authentic 16th c. Italian piazzo and gardens.
The building was brought from Italy stone by stone and reassembled.

Children are usually fascinated with ancient instruments, which make fine teaching aids
in both music and history. The recorder above is a baroque bass.
